There is a guest wireless service “ncsu-guest” nearly everywhere on campus that allows anyone to access the internet via any internet browser.
In order to use other features such as SSH, you have several options. If you have already have an “eduroam” account at your host institution, you should be able to login to the “eduroam” wireless service. There is also an “ncsu” wireless service. To login, you need to provide your username and password, which will be provided to everyone individually at the beginning of the summer school.
With this username and password, everyone will also have access to the NC State University Linux Cluster. The login nodes can be reached at the address login.hpc.ncsu.edu. Information about the computing cluster can be found here:
