You are also free to visit and use the DH Hill and Hunt Libraries.  In particular, the Hunt Library is quite a special place.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to physically check out books without a campus ID card.

At the beginning of the summer school, everyone will be given a formal letter confirming your participation in the TALENT summer school at NC State.  Bring this letter with you and present it at the Member Services Suite, in the Carmichael Complex (Carmichael Gymnasium Building), Room 1000.

Unfortunately it is not free.  However, the cost is relatively low and allows the use of cardio machines, weights, aerobics classes, swimming pools, sauna, steam room, basketball courts, tennis courts, racquetball courts, etc.

You can also take this letter confirming your participation in the TALENT summer school to the Outdoor Adventures desk on the first floor of the Carmichael Complex (Carmichael Recreation Center, next door to Carmichael Gymnasium) in order to rent a bicycle.  Again this is not free, but the cost should be quite reasonable.

Actually you can rent all kinds of things there such as hiking gear, tents, canoes, kayaks, etc.  You can also inquire about special trips they may organizing.
